IMPORTANT BACK-TO-SCHOOL DATES
August 1st - Student + Parent Orientation Opens.
August 17th - Courses are live in Schoology.  Students should check out their teacher's Welcome Folders.
August 18th - K-5 teachers will post their first Week-at-a-Glance (WAAG).
August 21st - K-12 Online Live classes begin.

September 5th- Preschool Online Labs begin. Tuesday & Wednesday will be "Parent & Me" and Thursday will be a "Parent Session"

ACCOUNT LOGINS
For Microsoft 365, Schoology, and Adobe Connect

Microsoft logins will be sent out on or before August 1 to all new students enrolled in the 2023-24 online and self-paced programs.  Adobe Connect and Schoology will use the same username and chosen password as the Microsoft account. Returning students should plan to use last year's login information for Microsoft to access Kolbe email, Schoology, and Adobe Connect.

PARENT SCHOOLOGY ACCOUNTS
Parent Schoology accounts will be issued on or before August 1 for all parents of K-12 students in online courses.

TECHNOLOGY ORIENTATION
All new students will be placed in a Technology Orientation course.  This course will be available to students within a few days of receiving account access.  Students will earn a Schoology Badge after completing Technology Orientation.

The student orientation course can be found by clicking on the COURSES tab in your student's Schoology account. Students in grades K-5 should complete this course with help from a parent.

ORIENTATIONS AND SUPPORT SESSIONS

Kolbe orientations for online courses opens in Schoology on Tuesday, August 1!  Before you dive in, attend a live session (or watch the recording). 

Live Session for Preschool
Wednesday, August 23rd at 3 pm Eastern, REGISTER NOW

Live Sessions Grades K-5
Choose one of the following K-5 Live Orientation sessions.  These sessions are meant for parents.

Wednesday, August 2nd at 3 PM Eastern, REGISTER NOW
Wednesday, Aug 9th at 3 PM Eastern, REGISTER NOW

After the live session, parents can earn their students their first badge of the year by completing the orientation quizzes in Schoology with your child.

KOLBE PARENT SUPPORT SESSIONS FOR ONLINE COURSES

Kolbe Online Welcome Session for Parents

Thursday, August 17th at 7 PM Eastern, REGISTER NOW

This session is hosted by our Deans of Students (PK-12) and is available for new and returning online families looking to learn more about kolbe’s approach to online education and student support.

Online Parent Q & A Session
Friday, August 25th at 1 PM Eastern, REGISTER NOW
Our Deans of Students for Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 will offer a Question-and-Answer session for parents about Kolbe Academy’s online program.

Elementary Parent Back to School Sessions

Friday, September 8th (Times set by Instructors)

Elementary Teachers will host back to school sessions with online parents to go over curriculum, schoolwork, expectations and goals for the year in their Adobe Classrooms.
