Full-Time Enrollment Withdrawal and Refund Policy

• If withdrawing within 72 hours of enrolling, a full refund will be given.
• A portion of all enrollment options and courses include a deposit.
• All deposits are to be paid at the time of enrollment.
• See the school calendar for last day to add/drop or withdraw for the current school year.

 

If you choose to pay your tuition in full, the deposit is included in the amount and will be deducted from any refunds due. If you choose the convenience of a payment plan, you are responsible for the remainder of the fees. After 72 hours, the above non-refundable deposit will be retained and the following applies to the remaining tuition:

 

Full-Time Standard and Full-Time Flex Tuition Refund Policy

• Within 30 days of enrolling: The deposit will be retained. The remaining tuition will be refunded (for Full-Time Standard book credit see below)
• Through November 30*: 50% of the remaining tuition is eligible for a refund
• December 1 or later*: no refund
• Spring Semester (one semester only): no refund

*Based on a school start date prior to October 1. All other school start dates will be adjusted accordingly.

 

Full-Time Online Refund Policy

• On or before the last day to add/drop: The full tuition deposit will be retained and the remaining tuition is eligible for a refund.
• The last day to add/drop until the last day to withdraw: enrollment in the equivalent asynchronous course(s) OR 50% of remaining tuition is eligible for leave on account credit, valid for one year, for future registration
• See the school calendar for last day to add/drop or withdraw for the current school year.
• After the last day to withdraw (fall) or the last day to add/drop (spring): enrollment in the equivalent asynchronous course with a course change fee or no refund
• For second semester courses/registration: after the last day to add/drop (spring): no refund is given.

 

Bookstore Credit Refund Policy

Applies to Full-time Standard and Full-time Online

• If dropping from Full-time Online or Full-time Standard to Full-Time Flex: You may choose to keep the bookstore credit and not receive a refund on that portion
• If withdrawing from Kolbe after 72 hours
  • Books purchased with the bookstore credit: may be kept or returned to Kolbe. Please refer to the Return Policy and the Book Buyback Policy for terms and conditions.
  • Unused portions of the bookstore credit will be canceled 

 

Online Summer Course Tuition

• Before classes begin: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
• After the 2^nd day of class: no refund

 

Individual Online Course Refund Policy

• Before the last day to add/drop online courses: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
• After the last day to add/drop through the last day to withdraw (fall): enrollment in the equivalent asynchronous course OR 50% of remaining tuition is eligible for a leave on account credit, valid for one year, for future registration.
• The last day to withdraw (fall) or later: enrollment in the equivalent asynchronous course with a course change fee or no refund.
• For second semester courses/registration, after the last day to add/drop (spring): no refund is given.

 

Asynchronous Course Refund Policy

• Within 15 days of delivery*: 100% of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
• 16 – 30 days after delivery*: 50%  of remaining tuition (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
• After 30 days: no refund

*Course delivery for fall enrollments will be during the month of August. If enrolling off cycle, courses will be delivered approximately one week prior to your school start date.

Student Support Services

• Special Education Services
  • There are no refunds for the initial consultation and accommodation plan fee once the consultation has occurred.
  • Resource Labs: if dropping before the last day to add/drop online courses, 100% of remaining fee (less the deposit) is eligible for a refund
• Tutoring
  • If you cancel your unused tutoring sessions, you will receive a credit to your account equal to the value of your unused sessions minus a $50 deposit.
• Accountability
  • If you cancel an unused accountability package, you will receive a credit to your account equal to the value of your unused package minus a $50 deposit.
  • No refunds will be given once a 9-week session has begun.
